According to Women’s Wear Daily, luxury brand, Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry has acquired Swiss-based company, Fabbrica Quadranti. An agreement between the Florentine company and Marco and Michela Longhi, owner of Fabbrica Quadranti, has been signed.
The family-run manufacturer has been creating watch faces for Gucci for 15 years. Gucci has also teamed up with courier company TNT Express Italy to allow delivering Gucci products from TNT warehouses to the Gucci stores in Milan with electric vans.
Today Factory Dials has 38 employees, tools and special machines. . Following the purchase Gucci Timepieces make new investments in staff and equipment in order to increase production and bring within the company subcontracted operations.
