Reuters reports that private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) is in exclusive discussions about a majority stake in fashion brands Maje, Sandro and Claudie Pierlot. The acquisition of the brands, partially owned by LVMH Chief Executive Bernard Arnault, would give them an enterprise value of 650 million euros.
The auction of the three labels, known for their trendy and affordable ready-to-wear garments, has generated a lot of interest in the clothing sector, partly because of a dearth of similar small and successful fashion brands available to investors.
Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) is a leading global investment firm with deep roots in private equity, diversified capabilities, and an impressive track record. Through an integrated approach, the firm works closely with companies and investment partners around the world to deliver flexible capital solutions. The power of partnership with KKR means they strive for better investments, stronger businesses, and shared success.
