Modizy.com Finalizes Second Round of Funding

logo-Modizy-anaxagoSocial platform Modizy.com, which combines fashion and social recommendation technologies, has just finalized its second round of funding. Participants include historical investors, as well as a few famous business angels in the European fashion industry such as: Francesco Maio (Instant Luxe, Carnet de mode, Now Fashion and many more), Céline Lippi (Fashion & Technology Lab, LeNewBlack, Soubis) or Dimitri Dewavrin (Baobaz, FruitRouge) took part in this new round.

 The project quickly won over investors thanks to its unique online Personal Shopper concept. The website uses collective intelligence algorithms, which allow users to enjoy a personalized shopping experience, and discover clothing and fashion acces­sories according to their style similitude with other community members.Capture d’écran 2013-07-18 à 21.19.31

 The new funding will enable Modizy to perfect its technical developments, create strong partnerships with brands and media, and release mobile apps by the end of the year.

 Modizy already has more than 1.5 million social recommendations on the website’s products; Modizy’s team aims to create a central shopping platform for women in Europe. To do so, Modizy will soon release the first intelligent marketplace in the fashion industry. With this, Modizy will allow brands to sell and promote their products to an active audience made of fashion influencers.
